The non-academic administrative agenda of exchange students at Masaryk University is mainly managed by the Center for International Cooperation (CIC), which provides support regarding the application process, study timeline, stipend management, housing, etc. The CIC website offers a wealth of information on almost every aspect of your study exchange. The academic agenda of exchange students arriving at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies (your "home department") is managed at the level of the department, primarily by the Coordinator for Exchange Students (see contact information). The Coordinator manages course selection, Learning and Training Agreements, and other academic agenda.
The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies offers a small group learning in a variety of courses available for exchange students. The following links to study catalogue show the offer of courses in English at our department. However, if students are capable of following courses taught in Czech and they fulfill potential course prerequisites, they are allowed to enroll.

We encourage students arriving at our department to enroll in the courses we offer. Yet, exchange students are not limited only to the courses offered by their home department at Masaryk University. They can browse the study catalogue of the Faculty of Social Studies and study catalogues of other faculties/departments at Masaryk University to find suitable courses. There are three psychology departments at the MU, which expands the psychology course availability for students.

Because there are three departments of psychology at Masaryk University, students have many courses to choose from. As a general rule, however, at least 50% of incoming students' credits should be awarded by their home department. Therefore, students may be asked to add some courses taught at our department into their Learning Agreement if necessary. In specific cases (e.g., the courses we offer are full), we do not apply this rule.
When students register for courses in the online IS system, they need to "ask for an exception" for enrollment for most courses and state the reason for the exception (see more information about this process). When you ask for an exception to register courses with the "PSY" prefix (e.g., PSYb2800), please always state as the reason that you are an Erasmus+ student arriving at the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Studies, Michal Čevelíček is your home coordinator, and that you should be preferred in enrollment. This is to ensure that you fit into the course capacity taught by your home department at Masaryk University.
Students are advised to carefully read course descriptions when making their choices. Departments at Masaryk University are responsible only for the courses they teach. Therefore, the Department of Psychology (FSS) does not have any influence over the content or output of courses taught at other departments. For example, while our department prefers to teach courses which consist of regular lectures, other departments may offer also self-study course versions. For some students, this is a viable option. However, students need to familiarize themselves with the course description to align their expectations with the course content.
Students who need help with the progress and content of a specific course first contact the course supervisor or contact person (see the course description). If students need help with a task assigned by a specific teacher, they contact the teacher. When students are unsure who they should contact, they contact the Coordinator for Exchange Students, who directs them towards the correct person.
